Interview

On Tuesday, May 28th 2015, I did an interview with my classmates. Her name is Navi. I chose her as informant because we both have to do interview, so we can interview each others.

Navi is the middle child. She has one big brother that 3 years older and one little sister that 4 years younger than Navi. Now, she is studying in college. Her father is a policeman and her mother is a business woman. I asked her about her feeling as a student in 3 Senior High School, and she said she is very happy because for being student in 3 Senior High School is one of her and her parents dreams, and it wasn’t easy and she had to struggle to be like this now. Her life is changing so much after she entered 3 Senior High School, she was very shock when she knew about the task, exam, homework, etc. She said, she feels more tired and tired because the full schedule. But it’s not make her give up, she doesn’t wanna see her parents disappointed. She believes that someday what she doing now will bring a great result, she believes that everyone who have struggled will grow up into beautiful person. Her parents give big contribution of her life. Her parents always give her motivations and advices so she can through it all. Her parents believes that whatever happens now to her is the God’s best way.

In the last, she said live must go on with smile, never give up, effort and the important thing is pray, just follow the way that God cchoosen to us. From that, you will be a success person.

Megalodon; meaning “big tooth” is an extinct species of shark that lived approximately 15 to 2 million years ago during the Cenozoic era.

From 70 million to 10 million years ago, the wonder known as the megalodon shark ruled the warm waters of Earth. Based on what researchers have discovered, the megalodon had many physical and behavioral similarities to the great white shark; however, one of the main differences between the two was that the megalodon was substantially more menacing and intimidating. 

The average great white can be anywhere from 15 to over 20 feet (4 to over 6 m) long. Yes these lengths are pretty impressive, but it does not even compare to the megalodon shark. The exact lengths of these ancient sharks are still in discussion, however, we do know that the megalodon was approximately 40 to 70 feet (12 to 21 m) long! They are also known as the “megatooth” shark and was the largest carnivorous fish that has ever existed on Mother Earth.

How scientists know about this giant prehistoric beast?

Just like the sharks of today, these sharks were comprised mainly of cartilage. So even though these sharks were immense, the majority of their bodies were not fossilized; cartilage usually disintegrates too fast for the fossilization process to occur. Therefore, there are still many factors of the megalodon that we are unsure of. Luckily, some teeth have been found and investigated. Because of this, paleontologists have managed to uncover quite a few facts about these amazing creatures, and although many specifics are still being debated, there are a few things that most are definitely in agreement on.

Megalodon was huge, relentless, and the apex predator of the Pliocene and Miocene epochs. What went wrong?  Well, this giant shark may have been doomed by global cooling (which culminated in the last Ice Age), or by the gradual disappearance of the giant whales that constituted the bulk of its diet. (By the way, some people believe Megalodons still lurk in the ocean's depths, as detailed in the Discovery Channel show, but there's absolutely no reputable evidence to support this.).

Dewa athena

One of sport competitions in my school is Dewa Athena. It held on march 7^th 2015. But unfortunately, I couldn’t attend Dewa Athena because, my uncle was sick and we had to brought him to the hospital. Actually I play for my class dodge ball team so my friend replace me. Dewa athena holds for 3 months. 

My friend told me how Dewa Athena went, she said at 8 a.m. they did the color run. She told me that the color run was so very interesting, I was so jealous when she told me that. And then the competition started. There are more than 5 kind of sport in Dewa Athena, and all the class have to send their delegation for every kind of sport. But if one of the players can’t come (like me) someone else can replace that person. 

My friend said that our class team won all the competition. I was so very hapy when I heard that, that’s the good news. But until now I still can’t play for my team because when the competition begin, it is always in the same time with my angklung practiceL, and I have to choose angklung practice bacause on march 28^th I will have angklung orchestra.

The Red Moon

Red moon or blood moon is a natural phenomenon. It happens because of Sunlight reaching the moon is filtered through the Earth’s atmosphere and scatters the red component of light to create the “blood moon” phenomenon. The color depends on how deep the moon is in the umbra and the nature of the Earth’s atmosphere — clean and light, or dusty and polluted. The more pollution, the less likely you are to see the red color.
