My
Last Holiday
At first I felt so
boring because this holiday my father was busy with his work so we couldn’t go
anywhere. I just watched DVDs, ate and ate, it was so very boring. But my
father promised us that his work will finish on December 29th, it
was a good news for us. And when that day come, I saw my father still looked
like busy, I didn’t want to disturb him because his face was very serious so I said
to myself “maybe this holiday, you will
have fun just at home…maybe”. My mom
looked at me with her eyes, it was just
like “we will just stay at home.” so I watched DVDs again till 5 p.m.. Suddenly
my father surprissed me and said “come on, pack your stuff we will go to Jakarta!”,
at first I thought that my father just kidding there but his face looked serious, so I packed my stuff fast because I didn’t
want when we go to Jakarta we will be trapped in traffic jam on toll way. After I, my mom and father and my
sister finished packing all my stuff, we went to jakarta at 9 p.m. and luckily
we didn’t trap in traffic jam and we
arrived at Jakarta at 12 p.m.. when we just arrived we went searching for a
hotel. Fortunately we found a hotel near Ancol beach. We were really really sleepy
, so when we arrived at the hotel, we went to our room to go to sleep.
The next day, we went
shopping to some malls to but some clothes, shoes and accessories. Besides went shopping, we went to
some historical places just Like Museum National, Kota Tua, and Lubang Buaya. We
learned many histories there and it was so very interesting, and we took some
photos too there.
And on December 31st
we went to Ancol beach to
celebrate the new years eve. This was my first time celebrated the new years
eve on the beach. We watched so many beautiful fireworks and it’s very
wonderful. And when 00.00 p.m. I took
breath deeply and shouted loudly all my wishes, i know that people will think
that I’m weird but I didin’t care at all because all I wanted to do is shouting
and I felt so free and happy.
