Amazing Place
There are so many amazing places in the world, but I think this place is my favourite one. It’s Roraima “flat” mountain. It’s located in eastern Venezuela (on border with Guyana and Brazil). It’s 2,810 metres (9,219 ft), and it’s the highest of the Pakaraima chain of tepui plateau in South America and the biggest “flat” mountain in the world. First described by the English explorer Sir Walter Raleigh in 1596. Do you know why it’s called “flat” mountain? That’s because its shape looks like table. Almost the entire surface of the summit is sandstone with only a few bushes and algae. It has many unique species that’s hard to found in another plateau, such as pitcher plants (Heliamphora), Campanula (a bellflower), and the rare Rapatea. It rains almost every day of the year, it makes this mountain is clear from the pollution. To get its top, there are 2 ways, first way, you can go by walking through the way that the Venezuela goverment made or if you want the extreme one, you can go by climbing the mountain, but this way isn’t recommended because the cliff is too precipitous to climb. Roraima mountain is began to known when Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote the fiction novel “The Lost World”, in this novel Conan Doyle as a botanist Everard Im Thurn and his friend Harry Perkins explored in the Roraima mountain to find the prehistoric plants and research about dinosaur’s life, they are the first people who get the top of the Roraima mountain on December 18 1884. And if you ever watched “Up” film, you would know that film is taken in Roraima moutain.

Red Riding Hood

A long time ago, there lived a little girl who always wore a red cloak with a hood.Because of this she was known as Little Red Riding Hood.

She lived with her mother in a little house on the edge of the wood.

One day her mother asked her to take some cakes to her Grandma who lived in a cottage at the other side of the wood.

Little Red Riding Hood loved going to see her Grandma and she skipped along the path through the woods with the basket of cakes.
He knocked on Grandma's door, but instead of saying "Hello," he gobbled her up!
He then put on her nightdress and hid in her bed, waiting for Little Red Riding Hood to come.

On the way she stopped to pick some flowers. This was a mistake because there was a wolf who lived in the woods and he saw her.

He was going to eat her up there and then, but instead he decided to talk to her. He asked her where she was going.

"I'm taking these cakes to Grandma's," she said.
"I know," said the crafty wolf," let's have a little game. I'll race you there."

They both set off walking down different paths, but the wolf took a short cut and got to the cottage first.

When Red Riding Hood came to Grandma's house she went to the bedroom to see her.
" You look a little strange Grandma," she said.
"What big hairy arms you have!"

"All the better to hug you with my dear," said the wolf.

"But, what big ears you have Grandma."

"All the better to hear you with my love," the wolf sniggered.

"You have such big eyes, Grandma!"

"I love to see you so much my dear," snarled the wolf.

"But what very very big teeth you have Grandma" . . .

"All the better to EAT YOU WITH ! " roared the wolf and jumped out of bed. He chased Red Riding Hood round the cottage and then out of the door.

Luckily, a woodcutter was working nearby and he heard the little girl's cries. He killed the wolf with his axe and Grandma popped out of the wolf's tummy all in one piece!

Little Red Riding Hood thanked the woodcutter for saving her life and promised never to speak to a wolf ever again !

 Matswapati

I will tell you about Matswapati and my experiences when I was in Matswapati. Matswapati was my school’s culture festival.  Matswapati is one of 7th section of OSIS’ work programs. Matswapati was held on Saturday, August 27th 2014. You could join us in matswapati but you had to buy the ticket first, it’s only 25k and remember you should buy it before the close gate at 4 p.m. Named Matswapati is taken from one of traditional puppets or we always call it wayang. Only first grade and second grade who participate Matswapati, because the third grade have to focus on their examination. We started this event with parade using traditional clothes (Kebaya for female and Pangsi and Iket for male) to promote our event to people, after parade we prepared to open our stand.  In Matswapati, every class on first grade and every class on second grade are paired to decorate our own stand, the stand was prepared by school, we just had to decorate it and sold any thing or service we wanted in our stand. So one day before the matswapati was held, we had to decorate our stand, we decorated our stand till 8 p.m. Matswapati was formally opened by Mr. ridwan kamil our mayor, and then we started opening our stand. My class’ stand called YUDHISTIRA, we didn’t sell things, but we sold services, we sold photo instax service and the famous service was mind read service, it’s unique, isn’t it? My friend, Miracle was the reader mind, so we made her up like a real oracle, and we made our stand like a classic room. My stand was one of the busiest stand in matswapati because so many people curious with our mind read service. Because so many people came to our stand, we had to make waiting list and bought so many mineral waters for Miracle. For mind read service we didin’t set the price, so if you didn’t have money, it didn’t matter. And for photo instax services, you only had to paid 10k for every shot, and you can posed everywhere you wanted. We earned quite a lot of money from sold the services, the mind read was the biggest income. We could open the stand only till 5 p.m. There were so many performance in Matswapati, of course the performance was about sundanese culture, just like Sundanese music dangdut, pencak silat etc. and of course some extracurriculars of my school gave the performance too. In the afternoon, only a few people came maybe because the hot weather, but in the evening, so many visitors came because the weather was not as hot as in the afternoon and the gate would close. After 5 p.m, i and my friends came closer to the stage to watch the main star in Matswapati, he is a famous singer. And at 7 p.m the main star finally came to the stage, and we shouted very loud, you know who is he? He is Glenn Fredly! He sang 10 songs, and it was really really spectaculer, we shouted “This is life before the examination, let’s crazy together!!!” it was because next week we will have examination. After that, there was a magic performance. And I went to home at 8 p.m, and it was really really cool event, I really enjoyed it.
